v 1.5 (beta) - 27/07/2006
Ok, a small step but with big improvements. Here is the news:
- Compile with the new OpenLaszlo 3.3.3. Javascript seems to be improved, so as there are lots of that on all laszlo application, everything seems to be better.
- Main result: the draw a comic strip section has improved alot. Less lag, easier to pick new colors and change stroke propreties. Get slower a lot slower, this is, take MUCH longer and much more strokes to get slower
- We love OpenLaszlo. They do a great job all the time. Send them love or use it too.
v 1.4 (beta) - 11/07/2006
So here we are, with a new version. What's new? Well, lots of things. Still working hard to complete version 2, but there is still a long way to go.
Our major adding to this version were SVG, feeds and Thumbnails.
Here's what new:
- All drawing are coded in SVG (Standard Vector Graphics). This now just improved both speed and memory usage, but will important for future features.
- Thumbnails of Comics. All comics have now a preview, showing itâs irst panel. This is shown while browsing by user, by rate or by date.
- Top rate and newest comics preview on the front page, so you know whatâs good and new right away.
- RSS Feeds of new comics. So you can keep up with new things and new doodles in an easy way. In the Feeds, there is a bigger preview of each new comic. Thanks to SVG, comics preview can be of any size without losing any quality.
v 1.0 (beta) - 03/04/2006
Ok, finally, version 1.0. Why only now?
This is because, only now, I'm happy with the basic stuff.
View strip had already been optimized. Now create strip followed. So, now, at least for functionality, i'm happy with what exists. Still much
is missing. Future work on its way.
Here's what new:
- Create Comic Strip was
generically
optimized.
Everything is faster and with fewer bugs.
- No more |change this| title. Users now have to put some title.
- No more blank comic strips. There has to be at least a stroke. But try to do more than just one ;) Please.
- Saving your strip is now much quicker. Hopefully, no "slow script" warnings will show up and you won't lose your work.
v 0.65 (beta) - 12/03/2006
Working at the weekend? Sure!
There is only one new feature, but a big one. Hmm.. not really a feature.
- The View comic Strip flash was all reviewed and optimized. No features here added or removed, just optimized.
Now, there is no
waiting
after the drawing is downloaded. The browser wont get blocked and
hopefully
, there wont be any alert message boxes from the flash saying that the script is making your application go slower.
- Everything in the view section such be more quick now.
v 0.35 (beta) - 15/02/2006
Seems like a big leap and it is. Here are the new features:
- A new main forum, where users can say whatever they want related with the site. Request featured, give opinion, give us their thanks ;) or anyother line.
- Users can now edit their "account". So, you can change some details.
- New user attribute. Url to Promote is the new attribute. Here user can put their blog, their webcomics or just their personal page. Whenever someone see one off your comics, there will be a link saying "Artist Site", so this will promote your website. Make good and funny drawing and have more visitants to your site.
- Every Comic Strips as now a opinion Forum. Just like the general forum, each comic strip was a forum for users to express their opinions or for the artist him/herself to explain something, describe or comment his/her work.
- Most important: new logo :D

First of all, a great new year!
Sorry for keepping you waitting, but here are some new features:
- Help text on all Strip Creation buttons
- Title bug is resolved. Don't forget to type your titles
- Delete button - on ajax fashion - for your strips
- All drawing render is done by animation. This shows the cronologic way the draw was made
