Price Slash! more on the Blog
With the coming of Ultra-Mobiles, Internet Tablets, Tablet PCs, Smart Phones and even PDAs, calligraphic interfaces are growing more then ever before. Though we do not see many sites taking advantage of this like calligraphic forums, blogs, etc.
Our goal was to create a calligraphic widget to put in forms that was as easy as <input type="draw" />; Simple, straightforward and completely transparent for developers.
Ultimate flash draw component. Free, easy and fun.
About
<InputDraw/> is a cross-browser, fast, simple to integrate widget to use in your forms as a drawing tool and everywhere else as a viewer.
It uses SVG as a describing language of drawing. Being a standard, SVG can afterwards be use be a large number of applications, widgets and libraries.
In order to use this widget, you don’t need to be a programmer or even know any web programming language like PHP, Ruby, Python, .net, Java, Smalltalk, etc.. Actually, you only need to know some html, what a form is and our JavaScript command to make it work.
<InputDraw/> uses flash technology so almost everyone can use it. Remember that there are more installations of flash than windows.

Technologies
Here is the list of technologies used to build this fine software:
OpenLaszlo
This is a great open source project that enables anyone to create flash application with xml and javascript-like language.
With love those boys and girls ate laszlo, they have a great product. This is the heart of our widget as it takes care of almost everything, from the interface to the communication with the browser.

SWFObject
SWFObject is a small Javascript file used for embedding Macromedia Flash content. The script can detect the Flash plug-in in all major web browsers (on Mac and PC) and is designed to make embedding Flash movies as easy as possible. It is also very search engine friendly, degrades gracefully, can be used in valid HTML and XHTML 1.0 documents, and is forward compatible, so it should work for years to come.
It makes our flash widget cross-browser and smoother.

Javascipt
We made a small JavaScript library to make it easy for you to integrate and use <InputDraw/>. It also prepares all JavaScript variable structure in the browser so that the flash can work its magic.
At inEvo we enjoy playing around with new stuff. Creativity is a major aspect of our work. We believe that this widget will enable new and fun ways of interaction with sites and new creative ideas.
